Scott and I slipped away this past weekend to celebrate our first year together.
We started the day off with SNOW.
I was so excited and it was so magical! Just a perfect start to a perfect day.
Then we headed up to Salt Lake City for a day packed of fun.
We went to the Salt Lake Temple and did sealings. It was my favorite part of the day.
We walked around City Creek Mall.
We went to the Cheesecake Factory for an early dinner.
We were so lucky to go back to the Grand America where we spent our wedding night.
We explored our 5-star hotel.
We had a bite of each of our three cakes.
One from the top of our wedding cake, one the Grand America made for us
and one I had ordered from our wedding cake vendor to surprise Scott.
Needless to say, we threw some away and will have left overs for a while.
We exchanged gifts.
We talked a lot about how grateful we are for each other and our marriage
We enjoyed the gorgeous view.
And in the morning, we had a delicious breakfast together across the way at the Little America.

Hands down the best cake we have ever had. Ever.
It was the perfect celebration.
