This weekend was in one word GLORIOUS!!
Friday the weather was AHHHHMAZING!! There is no way you can have a bad day when it is so beautiful outside.
My day was packed but I always seem to have a good day when I get a lot done.
Class, blogging, studying, tests, baking, an awesome girls night and a last minute decision for a midnight date to the dollar theater (Lincoln is a fantastic movie and I highly recommend it)
made Friday an awesome start to the weekend.
I spent a lot of time Friday in the Library. When it comes to libraries, it’s a pretty good one.
Saturday was unexpectedly AWESOME! I had my adorable friend Ashley’s Bridal Shower
(don’t know how I didn’t get a pic with her) and Scott went Snowboarding with his brother.
I realized I didn’t have any wrapping paper for my bridal shower gift and improvised with pages ripped out of an old book. I actually kind of like the way it turned out.
After the bridal shower, Carly, Annie and I went to the outlets. We had a little TOO much fun in J.Crew Factory. The sales were crazy amazing. I didn’t spend that much and got SO much stuff! Basically, I was on cloud nine. I think we all were. Here’s what I got. Can’t wait to put some outfits together!
And the amazingness of Saturday just continued….
It was again BEAUTIFUL outside, so when Scott and I both were back from our daytime activities we went and played tennis. Tennis is one of my passions. I love it so much and it’s so great that Scott is getting into it. I have a feeling we’ll be playing a lot more now that the warmer weather has arrived.
We were just enjoying the rest of our Saturday when we realized that the bookshelves we’ve been wanting from target were on sale and it was the last day. We rushed to the store bought one of them and then pushed through the doors of another Target in the following town as it was closing (the security guard wasn’t too happy) to get a second one. Quite the little late night adventure! Putting them together was a different battle.
I am SO happy with the results! Finally I have some shelving in our apartment!
Now it’s Monday, which means less weekend fun and more school! Graduation in T-minus 39 days!
Graduate School in T-minus 43 days. Life is GLORIOUS!
