This is a hard one for me to write guys….
I’m pretty sure I am like any girl out there and have struggled with my body image. I’ve been through some pretty low lows and some pretty high highs. I gained a freshman 20 or maybe more. I’ve worked hard to get fit, run a half-marathon and a sprint triathlon. When I’m consistently working out and being healthy I’m happier, have more energy and feel better about myself.
I feel like it makes me a better person.
Even now, I would consider myself pretty good at working out at least 4-5 times a week and eating quite healthy. But, I still have quite a few moments where I’m unhappy with my weight and my body. I think that’s normal for any girl.
I realized about a month ago that my body had reached a plateau. Unless I change something about the way I eat or the way I workout I’m going to stay the same. I needed to push myself.
My answer came in the form of an email from REVOLT fitness. They offered to let me try their program and meal plans for 12 weeks and blog about it. I did a little research and wow, the results from this program are amazing!! It comes with weekly meal plans, daily workout videos and a whole bunch of support through a private facebook group.
I’m really excited to include you on my journey to get into better shape! From now on, Mondays on Hunters of Happiness will be my weekly Revolt fitness update. (Hubby is doing along with me too)
Now to the hardest part……..
Part of revolt is taking before pics. I have debated multiple times about putting these up or not. But this is part of the journey. I didn’t suck it in or try to look good in these photos, so I don’t. Please don’t judge 🙂
