Santa Fe

Wow. I have been seriously MIA on the blog. It’s for a good reason though! I spent the last two weeks (almost) in Santa Fe with my family. Scott was there with use for the first few days since he happened to have a business conference in Albuquerque at the same time.
We got some In n Out before we headed out on our road trip and I’m glad I snapped this pic and posted it on instagram really quick because a few days later Aeropostale re-posted it and that was pretty cool! They have over two million followers and when they posted it my phone kind of exploded haha. My husband now says his hand is famous because it’s in the corner of the picture.
My time in Santa Fe was like heaven. I would spend most days working on my thesis during the day and hanging with the family at night. Little Em and I enjoyed cuddling on the porch swing and watching the gorgeous Santa Fe sunsets.
I love this little sis of mine so much. Soctt and I got her this Lego Rapunzel tower for Christmas and she wanted to wait until I came to visit to build it together. It was still all packaged and she could hardly wait for us to build it together.
I also was able to spend some great quality time with my amazing little brother. He’s not so little anymore and it’s really weird but also really awesome. He had a late start one morning so we were able to go out to breakfast at our favorite place, Harry’s Roadhouse.
I got this bluecorn waffle with bacon cooked inside (yes you heard me, you can’t see it, but there are bacon strips cooked inside of that waffle), it was delicious.
This skinny dude can put the food away. He ate all of his yummy looking red chile breakfast burrito and the rest of my waffle. Oh to have a teenage metabolism!
My mom and I went on beautiful walks around town almost everyday. I have really fallen in love with the unique charm and architecture of Santa Fe. It is a really cool place.
I was also lucky to be there for a big snow storm! We got in a little snowball fight 🙂
Love them sooooo much!
I also loved wearing all of my Mom’s cute clothes while I was there! 🙂
Saturday my Dad, brother and I went skiing. (I don’t know why the pic is so blurry, but I still love it!)
It was such a beautiful and fun day on the mountain!
 Sunday was Superbowl party time!
 The lineup of delicious food.
Those potato skins in the middle of my plate were made by my Dad. They were my favorite part! Corn, green chile, bacon and cheese in a potato skin? YES PLEASE.
I loved going to this girls gymnastics classes, piano lessons and ballet classes. She is growing up too fast!
Like seriously, this is what the sunsets look like! I promise, this isn’t edited.
These two cuties matched almost every day on accident. That’s what happens when you pick out your outfit and your daughters outfit too.
My favorite part might have been the fun sleepover nights as siblings. We set up the projector, watched movies and chatted. I was so blessed to have that wonderful time at home with my family! photo Blogsignature650_zps909f6ff0.png

You are seriously so pretty! And that is way awesome that Aeropostale re-posted your picture. In n' Out is my favoritest, the animal fries are top notch. Yum.

The Southwest is SUCH a beautiful place! This makes me want to go back even more. I've also never been there during the winter time and I'd love too! And the In-n-out looks amazing, as it always is :)JennyFrom the Desk of J

How cute is your family?!?! You need to do a detailed blog post on your family! Their names, ages, and your relationship with them all. You look like one big happy family 🙂 I am sure you miss them something fierce being away in a different state!
