It was so much harder and longer than I expected, but I did it! Waahoo! haha:) This guy was always there to support me and push me through the hardest times! I’m just the luckiest to have him by my side! He knows me so well and surprised me with those beautiful tulips after I walked.  To celebrate we went to InNOut. Weekend Staycation – Deer Valley and SLC

The last few months have been the hardest of my life and so a few weekends ago we decided to getaway for the weekend. We spend Friday and Saturday in Deer Valley. It was the first time I had ever been there (I don’t know why!) and it was SO gorgeous and SO much fun! I can never get a serious face for selfies with this guy 🙂 I love him SO much! I don’t know what I’d do without him! Before we left, I did my research to find the best places to eat in Park City and we dicided to go with a top rated Mexican place with…

Photo dump from the last month!

This is longest I’ve gone without blogging in years! This last month has been crazy! So many things going on and none of it terribly exciting or picture worthy. We moved apartments and I did a ton of work on my thesis. Scott and I went and saw a local production of Les Miserables last month. It was phenomenal!!  Before we moved out of our old apartment Charlie would sit on the porch and stare longingly at the park. It cracked me up! We took Charlie with us to hike the Y. It’s pretty much straight up hill. I was expecting to have to carry him up most of the…

Having lunch with this beautiful girl was one of the highlights of the last few weeks! I am so happy she moved back to Utah! I’m so grateful for good friends! I won this gorgeous bouquet in an instagram giveaway! I just loved staring at it! Oh fresh flowers, if only I could afford to have you all the time!  Cuddling with my boy! Dressing up to go to the temple in the freak April snow storm.  My new skirt is here and is on sale for only…

    A special weekend

This last weekend was one of those weekends that I’ll never forget. We (all three of us) took the long road trip down to New Mexico for my little sisters baptism and I also got to send my little brother off to prom! It was a fantastic weekend! It is always so wonderful to have us all together. Even little charlie spent most of time with all of us. It was so fun to finally introduce my family to charlie! My little brother baptized my little sister and it was one of the most memorable moments of my life. She is so sweet and loving! Saturday morning we woke up…

Easter Weekend and a little more

We hope you had a fantastic Easter! Ours was a wonderful weekend! My favorite part was listening to  LDS general conference. I am so grateful for the reminders and lessons that I learn!  This was one of my favorite quotes from conference (beautifully designed by alexa) The Monday before Easter I ran into target and came out completely prepared for spring. That place is heaven! On Tuesday I presented this poster on my Thesis research at a Conference. It is nice to feel like it is finally coming along!  I am so in love with this little furball! I can’t stop taking pictures of him!  Friday night we went out…

    It actually feels like Spring!

The weather this year has been unreal here in Utah! We are loving it and so is little Charlie! We spend so much of our time at the park (it is Charlie’s favorite place to be!). It was so warm this last week that Charlie spent most of the time trying to stay in my shadow so he could stay cool. This is one of my favorite pictures of him! It shows his cute little personality perfectly! Every time after we come home from the park Charlie finds a cozy spot and takes a nice long nap.  Saturday morning long walk with my boys! I couldn’t stop taking pictures of…

    The Crater and more fun

Last week we had a fun mid week date with some other great couples. We went to the crater at the Homestead in Midway Utah. I had heard about this place and it definitely lived up to everything! It was SO fun. Basically it is a hot spring under ground and is over 72 feet deep! We didn’t do any scuba diving though. We just enjoyed floating around in the warm water. Goodness, this spring weather has been phenomenal! And the resulting blooms are amazing! I have to keep myself from taking too many pictures of all of them.   Now time for all of my Charlie pictures…(I’m sorry there are…
